- Protection against low temperatures. It will provide airtightness and thermal resistance of the fabric. Such clothes are tailored according to the method developed by Central Scientific Research Institute for clothing industry (Baltex 260, Trooper, Prestige blended fabrics are used).

- Protection against high temperatures. In this case, the choice of material depends on the nature of heat impact (sparks, heat radiation), Parity fabric is usually used.

- Protection against mechanical impact. For this purpose, fabric with excellent mechanical properties suit: blended fabric 50/50, twill. Special components that can extend the operational lifetime, in particular, plates are sewed on.

- Protection against exposure to toxic substances (suits, mittens, aprons, etc.). In tailoring such clothes, special importance is given to seam sealing. For this purpose, fabric made of film components (Sunrise K80 acid-resistant fabric) are preferred. For oil workers, Parity and Baltex 215 fabrics suit ideally.

- Protection against non-toxic substances (mostly, dust) – Moleskins fabric. Good protection is ensured by dense texture fabrics: Temp 210, Oxford 210, Diagonal 235, Twill 230.

- Protection against water can be provided by fabrics possessing good waterproof properties (linen fabrics and materials with different impregnations). In case of prolonged exposure to water, film materials are used.
